Mike Tucker

Managing Partner

Having over 28 years experience in the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare industry. Mike is a results orientated Senior Director with a proven record of success in the disciplines of both finance and commercial sales, having held the roles of Senior Commercial Director and Senior Finance Director in various customer facing businesses at the Perrigo Company in the UK. In addition has held managerial positions with organisations, including American Home Products Corporation, Whitehall Laboratories, McBride Plc, Wrafton Laboratories. Mike is a Chartered Certified Accountant.

Russell Howard


A senior executive with over 40 years experience in the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare industries, Russell has a wealth of experience at senior management level including Vice President and Managing Director of Perrigo, Vice President EMEA at Alpharma (Actavis) and various General Management and Commercial, Strategic and Business Development roles. Russell is a graduate in Biochemistry and a post graduate in Business administration from Glasgow.

Phil Thompson


After some 15 years in the world of fast moving consumer goods, Phil spent the next 18 years in a variety of senior Commercial roles in the Pharmaceutical industry, both over the counter and prescription-only segments. Operating at Senior Director level in Sales, Marketing and Business Development, Phil also served as Commercial Director and Business Lead of an operating company coordinating the priorities and activities of the organisation through key functions such as Operations, R&D, Regulatory Affairs and all the commercial teams. Prior to joining HowTu, Phil worked for 3M, McBride PLC and Perrigo Company PLC.
